- Perform basic machine disassembly/setup for cleaning
- Recognize and address equipment needing deep cleaning
- Properly use chemicals to effectively and safely perform cleaning tasks
- Report employee safety, food safety and quality concerns to appropriate personnel
- Comply with all employee safety/food safety requirements, training, policies and procedures
- Clean workstations and equipment regularly
- Maintain a clean work area, clean floor and empty trash containers regularly
- Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
- 1 year working in a kitchen cleaning or working in a food manufacturing plant working as a sanitor cleaning equipment/machines
- Basic knowledge of pre-rinse/wash/rinse/sanitize steps
- Basic knowledge of top down washing sequence for proper food safety
- Basic knowledge of sanitation chemical usage
- Ability to learn how to clean all plant lines
- Ability to prioritize work
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Complete checklists and documents for assigned work area on a daily basis
- Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with fellow team members and management
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends, and shifts from morning through late night
- Position will require frequent standing, bending/kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
