This job description reflects assembly worker assignment of essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

Job Purpose:

Will primarily be responsible for assembly of RTE Meals products using established production procedures, following safety protocol and adhering to company’s quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
  • Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
  • Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements
  • Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
  • Responsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
  • Reports all production waste/issues to Production Lead or Supervisor
  • Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
  • Verify that each finished item meets the quality standards of the company.
  • Adheres to all safety, GMP and house rules.

Work Environment:

Environmental conditions will vary from an office, warehouse, and outdoor environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works around moving machinery, truck and forklift traffic. In traveling from normal work area to other areas of the facility, the employee may occasionally be exposed to loud noises, which mandate the use of hearing protection; wet floors may contribute to slippery conditions and may also contribute to humidity in the production areas.

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
